After my last basketball game, the structure disappeared overnight. No team practice, no coach checking in, nobody waiting on me to show up. I told myself I'd stay in shape. I didn't. Weeks turned into months without touching the weight room. It wasn't that I didn't know what to do. It was that I didn't have a reason to do it.

I missed the team more than I missed the sport. I wanted the locker room back — people who'd notice when I didn't show. So I built one.
